The public conference started with different key note speeches, which gave insights in different stakeholder perspectives on doctoral education and rangeland value chains. The subsequent panel discussion allowed for a deeper dive into the key note topics. After the PhD students had their flash talks about their prepared posters, parallel workshops about agricultural value chains, transdisciplinary engagement and rangeland management brought together even more thoughts, ideas and suggestions for improvement. All in all the conference was a huge success in presenting the current status of the ADVALUE outcomes, combined with new inputs for future engagement, collaboration and improvement.
